Bill.com balance is a new way to pay! You can use your balance to store money to pay vendors as soon as overnight with next-day ePayment speed, no unexpected delays, and no additional fees.
Note: We are rolling this feature out in phases, so if you don't see it in your account yet, please stay tuned!

Add money to your balance via ACH
- Select Add money on the Overview page
- Select Standard bank transfer
- Select the bank account and enter the amount you'd like to add to your balance.
- Select the account you'd like to transfer from in the dropdown.
- If you don't see the account you'd like to transfer to, you may need to be added as an authorized user on the account, or add the bank to your Bill.com account.
- Select Add money
The confirmation page shows your transfer is scheduled, the amount, the bank selected to transfer from, and the estimated arrival date. The transfer will show in your balance transaction history as pending until deposited.
Cancel a pending ACH transfer to your balance
If you have a pending ACH transfer to your balance that hasn't deposited yet, you can cancel it.
- Select Manage Balance on the Overview page
- Select Cancel this on the pending transaction you'd like to cancel.
- Select Yes, Continue to confirm.
Add money to your balance via wire
- Select Add money on the Overview page
- Select Wire transfer
- Copy the routing number, account number, and address and either initiate a wire from your online banking or your bank branch.
Wired money will usually be available in your Bill.com balance the same day. If you'd like to cancel the wire, contact your bank. If the wire has already deposited to your balance, you can't cancel it, but you can withdraw the money.
Set incoming payments to deposit to your balance
You can set payments from customers you're connected to via the network to automatically route to your balance, getting your money to you faster than ePayment.

Stop incoming payments from depositing to your balance
If you'd like to stop payments from customers you're connected to via the network from automatically routing to your balance, you can do that in Settings.

- Select Yes, Change it to confirm
Withdraw money from your balance
If you need to withdraw money from your balance instead of paying vendor bills, you can transfer money to a Bill.com verified bank account.
- Select Manage Balance on the Overview page
- Select Withdraw Money
- Enter the amount you'd like to withdraw, up to the Current balance shown.
- Select the account you'd like to withdraw to in the dropdown.
- If you don't see the account you'd like to transfer to, you may need to be added as an authorized user on the account, or add the bank to your Bill.com account.
- Select Withdraw USD (amount).
The confirmation page shows your withdrawal is scheduled, the amount, the destination bank, and the estimated arrival date. The withdrawal will show in your balance transaction history as pending until deposited. Withdrawals usually post next business day.
Manage balance users
Manage which of your Bill.com account users can view or manage balance with 5 levels of permissions, or remove access to balance completely.
- Select Manage Balance on the Overview page
- Select the three dots
and then Manage Users
- Select an access level for each Bill.com user, or select X to remove the user from balance entirely.
- Removing a user from balance won't remove them from your Bill.com account itself.
- Select Add Users to add a new Bill.com user and set their balance permissions
View and export your balance transaction history
You can view the history of your balance from the Overview page, including pending transactions, money transferred from your bank, payments to vendors, and payments from customers.
- Select Manage Balance on the Overview page
- Pending transactions will be listed at the top, complete transactions will be listed at the bottom
- Select Load X more on the bottom of the list to load additional records if needed.
- Payment to: a payment sent to a vendor
- Payment from: a payment sent by a network-connected customer
- Transfer from: money added to your balance from a bank account
- Transfer to: money withdrawn to a bank account
- If you'd like to export the history, select Export, then select Export to .CSV or Export to Excel.
Disable Bill.com balance
If you'd rather not use Bill.com balance, you can disable it in settings. If you have money in your balance, you'll request a full withdrawal as part of the disable balance workflow. If you previously set receivables payments to deposit to balance, they'll route to your verified bank account once balance is disabled.

- If you have money remaining, follow the steps to request a transfer of your total balance. This is required to turn balance off.
