The newly enhanced vendor add flow makes adding and connecting to your vendors even easier.

What's changed?
We've moved the add vendor flow to 3-4 simple screens which dynamically update based on the type of vendor you're adding. We made it easier to identify which info is required for your vendors, while still allowing you to easily enter additional info as needed.
Add a domestic vendor manually
You'll still find the Add Vendor button on your vendors list, but from there, you'll start the new flow:
Screen 1 - basic info
You'll begin with basic vendor info on this screen.
Required fields:
- Vendor name
- Vendor location (US or International)
- Full vendor address
Optional fields:
- Email address
- Phone number
Screen 2 - payment type
On this screen you can decide if you want to pay your vendor via check or ePayment.
Required fields if you choose to email your vendor to sign up for free to receive ePayments:
- Email address
Required fields if you choose to manually enter your vendor's bank info and pay them via bank deposit:
- Routing number
- Account number
- Email address
No additional required fields if you select to pay the vendor by paper check.
Screen 3 - additional info
This screen allows you to enter additional vendor details, mostly optional.
The only required field here is Vendor ID, if you sync with an accounting software that uses vendor IDs.
Optional fields:
- Pay to name - defaults to vendor name but is editable
- Payment notification email - defaults to vendor email if entered but is editable
- Account number
- Label
- 1099 tag
- Process date lead time for payments
- Combine payments
- Auto-pay bills
- Payment term
- Sync bills setting
Add an international vendor manually
You'll still find the Add Vendor button on your vendors list, but from there, you'll start the new flow:
Screen 1 - basic info
You'll begin with basic vendor info on this screen.
Required fields:
- Vendor name
- Vendor location (US or International)
- Country
- Full vendor address
- Email address
- Vendor type
- Phone number*
*Phone number may not be required for some countries until adding vendor banking information.
Screen 2 - bank details
On this screen you can decide if you want your vendor to enter their bank info, or if you'd like to enter it manaully
Required fields if you choose to have your vendor enter their bank info:
- Email address - will be prepopulated with the email address entered in screen 1, can be edited
- Invoice currency
Required fields if you choose to manually enter your vendor's bank info:
- Bank location
- Required bank info varies based on the country, and can include:
- SWIFT code
- Bank code
- Transit Number
- Etc.
Screen 3 - additional info
This screen allows you to enter additional vendor details, mostly optional.
The only required field here is Vendor ID, if you sync with an accounting software that uses vendor IDs.
Optional fields:
- Pay to name - defaults to vendor name but is editable
- Payment notification email - defaults to vendor email if entered but is editable

Add a vendor from the network
You'll still find the Add Vendor button on your vendors list, but from there, you'll start the new flow:

- Full vendor address
Optional fields:
- Email address
- Phone number
Screen 2 - select network match
If we find existing vendors in our network that match the name and address you enter on screen 1, we'll show a list of possible matches for you to choose from.
Select the one that matches your vendor, or you can select to enter the vendor manually.
Screen 3 (if you select a network vendor) - additional info
This screen allows you to enter additional vendor details, mostly optional.
Required fields:
- Vendor ID - if you sync with an accounting software that uses vendor IDs
- Currency - if the vendor is located outside the US
Optional fields:
- Pay to name - defaults to vendor name but is editable
- Payment notification email - defaults to vendor email if entered but is editable
- Account number
- Label
- 1099 tag
- Process date lead time for payments
- Combine payments
- Auto-pay bills
- Payment term
- Sync bills setting
Add a vendor using their Payment Network ID (PNI)
You'll still find the Add Vendor button on your vendors list, but from there, you'll start the new flow:
Screen 1 - Payment Network ID (PNI) search
Instead of entering basic vendor info on this screen, select Add by PNI, then enter the PNI to search the network.
Screen 2 - select network match
If we find existing vendors in our network that match the PNI you enter on screen 1, we'll show the match here.
Select the vendor it it matches, or you can select to go back and try searching again, or enter the vendor manually.
Screen 3 (if you select a network vendor) - additional info
This screen allows you to enter additional vendor details, mostly optional.
Required fields:
- Vendor ID - if you sync with an accounting software that uses vendor IDs
- Currency - if the vendor is located outside of the US
Optional fields:
- Pay to name - defaults to vendor name but is editable
- Payment notification email - defaults to vendor email if entered but is editable
