UPDATE: March 25, 2022
As a U.S. federally regulated company, Bill.com is required to comply with all U.S. sanctions. In light of recent developments on the Ukraine/Russia border and the related sanctions imposed by the US Treasury, Bill.com has temporarily suspended payments to bank accounts in Russia with immediate effect.
For payments to Ukraine, we are halting payments to the following 3 regions that have been sanctioned:
- Crimea Region of Ukraine
- Donetsk People's Republic (DNR)
- Luhansk People's Republic (LNR)
Things to know:
- Bill.com is currently unable to send payments in UAH or RUB.
- The Bill.com Payment Operations team may contact users for more information about payments to Ukraine.
These sanctions are complex and changing in response to developments on the ground in the Ukraine. Bill.com may be required to take other actions to comply with federal regulations if the scope of the sanctions changes. During this time, we'll update our customers as we adapt our processes to any new sanctions orders by updating this article.
Bill.com recognizes the impact these actions may cause. This is a regrettable situation that requires unplanned changes in accordance with U.S. government regulations. Our thoughts are with the citizens of Ukraine and for a return to peace. For more information, please review the Understand U.S. Economic Sanctions article.
