Note: New sync connections with Microsoft Dynamics GP are no longer available. If you currently have a sync connection with MSDGP, that sync will remain active and unchanged at this time.
There are times you may need to disconnect and reconnect an existing sync connection between Bill.com and Microsoft Dynamics GP for troubleshooting, or if you deactivate the user who originally set up the sync in Bill.com. Follow the steps below to disconnect and reconnect an existing sync.
Disconnect the sync
- Select Settings
- Select Setup under Sync
- Select Disconnect
Reconnect the sync
- Select Settings
- Select Setup under Sync
- Select Connect
- Enter the following required information for the Microsoft Dynamics GP SQL server:
- Database server: Database server name
- Database name: Database where DB installer is installed
- Username: Username of integration user you created in the SQL database
- Password: Password for integration user you created in the SQL database
- Agent Type: Where the Agent is installed
- Agent name: Name of the machine where Agent is installed
- Service name: Name used on the Agent installer, usually Scribe Online Agent
- Select Save.
