Bill.com is always working to improve your accounts payable and accounts receivable processes! You can check out the links to updated articles on the bottom of this page, but here's a summary of what's new this month:
Payables
Posting offline payment to past dates
Keep your payment records accurate! Users with offline payment permissions can now select past dates on the Bills page, when marking bills as paid one at a time, or in bulk.
Customize the Bill Approvals page
Customize the columns you see on the Bill Approvals page to reduce page clutter and see only information important to you.
Vendor bank change confirmation
To continue our efforts to protect you from fraud, when you change a vendor's bank information in your account, we will let your vendor know of the change. We let them know to expect future payments in the new bank, and to contact you if they have any concerns.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Google Authenticator for backup MFA
Use Google Authenticator as another way to get backup multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes. Google Authenticator is a free downloadable mobile app that provides a new code every 30 seconds for apps linked to it. Once setup, you can open the app and use the current code as backup MFA in Bill.com.
Disable and Enable 2-Step Verification (MFA) by Role
Disable or enable 2-step verification for some user roles to reduce interruptions to these low-risk users, while keeping logins with payment, bank, and record-editing access secure.
