Why the sync error occurs
This error occurs when a credit memo is trying to sync to QuickBooks Online from Bill.com, but the automatically apply credits feature is turned on in QuickBooks Online. We can't sync credit memos with this feature enabled in QuickBooks Online.
How to fix the sync error
In QuickBooks Online, turn off the automatically apply credits feature.
- Select the gear icon
- Select Account and Settings
- Select Advanced
- Select the edit icon for the Automation section
- Deselect the box for Automatically apply credits
- Select Save
- Sync again
If you don't want to turn the feature off, please contact Customer Support to clear the sync error, but keep in mind, there will be errors on additional credits in the future.
