Why the Sync Error occurs
This error occurs when a credit memo is trying to sync to QuickBooks Online (QBO) from Bill.com, but the automatically apply credits feature is turned on in QBO. We cannot sync credit memos with this feature enabled in QBO.
How to Fix the Sync Error
In QuickBooks Online, turn off the automatically apply credits feature.
- Click the gear icon
- Click Account and Settings
- Click Advanced
- Click the edit icon for the Automation section
- Uncheck the box for Automatically apply credits
- Click Save
If you do not want to turn the feature off, please contact Customer Support to clear the sync error, but keep in mind, there will be errors on additional credits in the future. It is best to turn off the automatically apply credits feature if at all possible.
