Email, mail or print an invoice

Invoices can be emailed or mailed by Bill.com. They can also be printed if a physical copy is needed.

Emailing an invoice

An invoice can be emailed on creation by clicking the Preview & send option.

To email a saved invoice that has never been sent before:

  1. Locate and click the invoice that needs to be sent
  2. Click Send Invoice

Email Invoices in bulk

Invoices can be sent out in bulk by going to the Invoices to Email queue.

  1. On the Overview page, click the Open Invoices tab
  2. Click the drop down arrow under Send Status
  3. Select the appropriate status
  4. Select the invoices by checking the checkbox next to the Invoice #
  5. Click Send Invoices

Have Bill.com mail an invoice via USPS

  1. Locate and click the invoice that needs to be printed
  2. Click More actions
  3. Click US Mail

Mail Invoices in bulk

Invoices can be sent out in bulk by going to the Invoices to Print/Mail queue.

  1. On the Overview page, click the Open Invoices tab
  2. Click the drop down arrow under Send Status
  3. Select the appropriate status
  4. Select the invoices by checking the checkbox next to the Invoice #
  5. Click Send Invoices

Printing an invoice

Print an invoice if a physical copy is needed.

  1. Locate and click the invoice that needs to be printed
  2. Click More actions
  3. Click Print

Things to know

  • For security reasons, Print/Mail Invoice is only available after an active bank account is added
  • We can only mail invoices within the United States
  • At this time, we only have the option to download or print one invoice at a time.
  • We send 1 separate email to each address in the To field, and we copy the addresses in the CC field on each on each separate email. If there are 5 addresses in the To field, any addresses in the CC field will receive 5 separate emails.
  • Any addresses added to the CC field will automatically be added as a Contact for the Customer, if it doesn't already exist
