You have the option to accept customer payments via PayPal using Bill.com. We don't support paying vendor bills via PayPal.
- Convenient for your customers: Your customers make payments in just a few steps. When they choose to pay via Credit Card - PayPal, they are redirected to the PayPal website, where they enter their credit/debit card information or login to PayPal.
- Instant payments: Customer payments are available in your PayPal account instantly (minus applicable PayPal fees).
- PayPal Standard Fees: Payments received via Paypal will be charged PayPal's Standard Fees.
- Bill.com doesn't charge additional fees when receiving PayPal payments.

Add your PayPal account to receive payments
- Select Settings.
- Select Online Payments under Receivables.
- Select Setup in the PayPal section.
- You'll be redirected to PayPal - enter your PayPal login credentials.
- Select Agree and Continue, then you'll be redirected back to Bill.com.
Temporarily stop or start accepting PayPal payments
- Select Settings.
- Select Online Payments under Receivables.
- Select Stop in the PayPal section, next to Accepting Payments.
You can follow the steps above and select Start in step 3 to resume accepting PayPal payments.
Completely disconnect your PayPal account
- Select Settings.
- Select Online Payments under Receivables.
- Select Manage next to PayPal.
- Select the PayPal email that you want to disconnect.
- Select delete to disconnect the PayPal account.
To accept PayPal payments again in the future, add a new PayPal account.
Things to know
- PayPal payments are only available via the customer portal - your branded website provided by Bill.com, which lets your customers login and manage bills & payments. Customers can log in and select the PayPal option to submit a credit card payment.
- You can't accept ePayments through PayPal. PayPal payments must be from a credit or debit card.
- There are two types of Paypal accounts: Merchant & Regular. Merchant accounts can't be connected with Bill.com.
