Why the sync error occurs
This error occurs when a Sales Tax type item created in Bill.com is attempting to sync to QuickBooks Online. Sales Tax must be created in QuickBooks Online and synced to Bill.com.
How to fix the sync error
- Delete the Sales Tax item in Bill.com
- Create the Sales Tax in QuickBooks Online directly
- Sync again
The Sales Tax entered in QuickBooks Online will sync to Bill.com as an item, which can then be used on invoices as a line item.
