Bill.com determines a receivables limit based on a soft credit check of your company. We set the limit to make sure payments can be covered if a payment is disputed and/or reversed by one of your customers. The limit is based on a 20 business day period of your receivables payments.
If your Bill.com account reaches your receivables (AR) limit, we'll place any incoming payments over the threshold on a temporary hold. We'll automatically review your account within 1 business day, with a goal of increasing your AR limit and releasing the payments from hold.
You'll receive an email notification regarding this hold, but no action is required from you, it's simply a notification. If action is required to release your payments on hold, we'll reach out to you.
