If you have an advanced paid account with Bill.com, you have the option to accept payments from customers via credit card.
If you have a subscription-free basic account, you'll need to upgrade to accept credit card payments.

Benefits of accepting payments via credit card
Accept credit/debit card payments through our relationship with Vantage Card Services. Vantage will provide to you:

- Month-to-month agreements - Risk-free
- Lowest commercial card rates - Level 3 payment processing -- Vantage/Paytrace will give you a personalized free quote
- Unlimited personal service - Payment consultations and specialized advice
- Reward points - Get reward points for processing payments
Link your existing Vantage account
If you already have a Vantage account, you can link it with your Bill.com account to accept payments.
- Select Settings
- Select Online Payments under Receivables
- Select Setup next to Credit Card
- Select I already have a Vantage Merchant account
- Enter Vantage login credentials
- Select whether to Require cardholders to accept terms and conditions
- Select Save
Sign up for a Vantage account
If you don't yet have a Vantage account, you can start your application from within Bill.com.
- Select Settings
- Select Online Payments under Receivables
- Select Setup next to Credit Card
- Enter details for:
- Annual Credit Card Sales
- Average Payment Amount
- Select Get Instant Quote to apply for a Vantage account
- A merchant services account through Vantage is required, but they'll walk you through the remainder of the process after initiating first steps through Bill.com. A chance to review the costs will be presented before needing to commit to anything.
Things to know
- Credit card payments you accept through Bill.com using a Vantage account will be deposited to your default Bill.com bank account
- This feature is not available for accounts on the subscription free price plan
- The Require csc code setting within Vantage needs to be set to no
