Why the sync error occurs
This error occurs when either the QuickBooks Online account trying to connect to sync is a Sandbox account or the QuickBooks Online account was recently upgraded from Sandbox to a full account.
How to fix the sync error
To resolve this error, disconnect and reconnect the sync using the new QuickBooks Online Primary Admin's login credentials:
- Select Settings
- Select Setup under Sync
- Select Disconnect
- Select Settings
- Select Setup under Sync
- Select Connect
- Reconnect the sync using the new QuickBooks Online Primary Admin's login credentials
Note: On Bill Pay accounts, this error can occur if a user deletes or voids a payment in QuickBooks Online, but the payment cannot be voided in Bill Pay as it has cleared. Contact Customer Support to clear the error.
