Why the Sync Error occurs
This error occurs when the company name is not populated in QuickBooks. This error occurs most often after a migrating from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks for Windows.
How to Fix the Sync Error
- In QuickBooks, click Menu > Company Information to check for the company name
- If the company name does not appear, enter the name and click Save
- If the company name does appear, delete the name that appears, re-enter the company name, and click Save
- Run a sync
