If using sync with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Intacct, or NetSuite, the option to sync only bills and vendor credits that have been approved using Bill.com approvals is available.
Below is a table showing how approval status will affect the sync when you have this option enabled.

Once this setting is turned on in Bill.com, it cannot be turned off again, so please this setting should be enabled. This setting should ONLY be enabled if ALL bills will go through the Bill.com approval workflow.
If syncing with NetSuite, this setting can be controlled within Bill.com Preferences in NetSuite. The setting in NetSuite can be turned on or off.
Turning on setting
To sync only approved bills/vendor credits:
- Click Settings
- Under Sync, click Preferences
- Click the edit icon
- Select Sync Only Approved Bills and Vendor Credits
- Click Save

- This setting is only available for cloud accounting platforms, therefore it is not available for QuickBooks for Windows
If you do not see the described feature available in Bill.com, you may not have access to the feature based on permissions for your role and/or your plan does not have this feature. If you wish to get access to the feature, please review the available plans for Bill.com and upgrade accordingly or contact the Administrator of your Bill.com account.
