A Key Field is a required field for the import and is designated with an asterisk on the Import template. If there's a duplicate key field, you'll encounter the following error:

Resolving the Import Error
If you receive this error, it means there's a duplicate Key Field. This often happens when there are many rows to import.
To resolve the error, check the error report to find the row that's causing the error. Look for the duplicate Key Field. This is most commonly the Name. Once you find the duplicate, you can either edit the cell or delete the row if it is a true duplicate.
You can also get this error if there is inconsistent information under the Description column. If the bill number is the same for multiple rows, but the description is different, it will error out, saying "key fields are being repeated.”
