For an easy way to connect through the Bill.com Network, you can provide your Payment Network ID (PNI) to your vendor or customer and ask them to connect without sending or accepting invitations.
Subscription free Bill.com accounts
If you've signed up for a free Bill.com account to only receive payments, the account requires a connection to a customer that uses Bill.com to make a payment to you.
When logging into an account without a connection you will encounter a page that informs you that the next step is to provide your customer the Payment Network ID to your Bill.com account.
What happens next
When they enter the PNI into your profile in their Bill.com account, it will automatically connect your Bill.com account to their Bill.com account. We'll notify you via email once you are connected.
If your bank account is verified, all payments will be paid electronically going forward.
Below is an example of the email you will receive:
< Your company name > is now connected with < Company name you are paying or receiving >
Body: Your organization, < Your company name >, is now connected with < Company name you are paying or receiving >.
