With Bill.com, you can sign up for a subscription-free Basic Receivables account if you only want to receive payments through the Bill.com network, and pay no transaction fees. You must have a subscription-free Basic Receivables account before you can connect to customers/payers, and start transacting.
If you login to your subscription-free Basic Receivables account and get the “No current connection” message, you’ll need to connect with your customer/payer via the Bill.com network before you can receive payments. Follow the steps below to share your Payment Network ID (PNI) and get connected.

Locate your Payment Network ID (PNI)
To connect to your customer/payer from your existing account, you’ll need to start by locating your PNI.
- Select Network

- Select My Network Profile and note your Payment Network ID (PNI)
Give your PNI to your customer/payer
Take the PNI that you wrote down in Step 3 and give it to your customer so they can enter it on their side.
Helpful things to know
When your customer/payer enters the PNI into your profile in their Bill.com account, it'll automatically connect your Bill.com account to their Bill.com account. We'll notify you via email once you're connected.
If your bank account is verified, all payments you receive between network connections will be direct deposit ePayments going forward.
